The Akoni - Astrolis is a round pilot in titanium, named for the instruments of stellar navigation. A titanium top bar runs above the bridge, and set into the bridge itself is an acetate insert, a small change of material at the center of an otherwise all-metal front. The temples are flat and end in acetate tips, and knurling is cut into the titanium along the way, giving the metal texture where the fingers land. The build keeps the weight low for a frame this size. Designed in Switzerland. Handmade in Japan. Includes Akoni box, case, cleaning cloth, and 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
