Born from Pierre Balmain's 1945 Parisian couture heritage and the foundational duality between architecture and couture—Monsieur Balmain was originally trained as an architect—the frame amplifies the House's design vocabulary drawn from his seminal "geometric centers of the dresses." Diamond-cut lenses deliver clarity and definition, while the signature colonette temple takes on a sculptural, volumetric form. Titanium and acetate are precisely combined, accented with orné rings inspired by vintage jewelry. Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
