The guiding spirit, however, remains the same, with the Sentinelle-V continuing the line’s sharp focus on Balmain’s eight decades of artisanal couture history, which has always been marked by a determination to perfect each and every detail. That passion for perfection can be seen in the beveled top edge above each lens, as well as the pressed monogram house logo and engraved lines embellishing the end of each temple. Handmade in Japan. Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
