The Akoni - Starliner is a half-rim navigator in titanium and acetate, named for the next generation of spacecraft. The rim runs across the brow and down the outer edges only, so the lower lens edge is open and the front stays light. The temples are the technical part: they adjust in length behind the ear, the hinge is a visible mechanical junction rather than a hidden one, and layered acetate accents are set into the metal along the arm. Sculpted tips finish them. Designed in Switzerland. Handmade in Japan. Includes Akoni box, case, cleaning cloth, and 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
