The Cutler and Gross - 9101 sunglass celebrates the 40th anniversary of one of Tony Gross's favourite frames, the 0101—named after Room 101 in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, where one's greatest fears were kept. Tony wore the 0101 throughout the '80s between New York and London's elite clubs, alternating sun and optical versions as his signature. House history at its most personal, revived and hand-finished in the brand's Italian workshops. Room 101, reclaimed as a signature. Handmade in Italy. Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
