The Cutler and Gross // 1386 is the showpiece of the collection, following on from the success of their 9mm bold frames. The 1386 is the pinnacle of post-modern eyewear design, borrowing its lines from the 1950s American acetate styles but are newly amplified for maximum effect. The sculpted acetate, coupled with interior and exterior milling gives the frame a chunky, bold look but without the heaviness of weight. The volume of acetate used enables the lustrous deep marble colors from the Renaissance and classical architecture eras, which clash against this highly technical frame. New custom acetate colors such as Alabaster and Burgundy Marble recreate artists like Jeff Koons and Marcel Duchamp who challenged modernism by creating new from old. Includes Cutler & Gross case, cleaning cloth, and 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Pupil distance (PD) is the distance in millimeters between the centers of your pupils. It's used to align the optical center of your lenses with your eyes. Most adults have a PD between 54–74 mm. You can find it on your prescription or ask your eye doctor.
