The rounded acetate frame nods to the archived 0197—originally made in 1987—and to a certain Material Girl's visit to the Knightsbridge store in 1989, capturing the spirit of London's eccentric street fashion of that moment. It is distinctly confident in its design, the kind of frame that treats a decade as raw material rather than costume. Hand-finished in Italy and numbered in the Cutler and Gross tradition.
